Royal Park Live is an annual series of special concerts in the gardens of Soestdijk Palace. The first edition of Royal Park Live took place in 2016.

Since the opening of the grand winter exhibition, "The Taste of Soestdijk" has been awash in positive media coverage. Renowned publications like Nouveau, Delicious, Libelle (Lekker), ND, RD, and De Telegraaf have highlighted this unique experience within the palace walls of Soestdijk.

Starting in December 2026, two piglets will be on display in the park near Soestdijk Palace, housed in a glass greenhouse. The work is by Margriet van Breevoort (Amsterdam, 1990), who graduated with honors from the Utrecht School of the Arts in 2013.

Over the past few months, Construction and Restoration Company Van de Burgt & Strooij has been carrying out maintenance work on the Waterloo Needle. The first step was to completely clean the Waterloo Needle. The mortar joints on the sandstone pylon were then repaired, after which the pylon was treated with beeswax to reduce moisture penetration into the natural stone.

Last Thursday, December 4th, Soestdijk Palace welcomed members of Omroep MAX to its exclusive Royal MAX Day. The event was entirely dedicated to the major winter exhibition, "The Taste of Soestdijk." The exhibition offers a delicious journey through culinary traditions and the most intimate royal table settings of the court.
