Accessibility for PlusBus drivers / other transport companies

Are you a driver of a PlusBus or another transport company that accompanies guests in wheelchairs and/or with walkers? We would like to welcome you and want to ensure that your visit goes as smoothly as possible. Upon arrival, you, the driver, will be requested to report to the ticket office. Make sure that you have valid tickets for your group, so that the ticket office employee can provide you with the necessary admission tickets. In addition, the employee will give you parking instructions to park as close as possible to the Palace, so that your guests in wheelchairs can easily get in and out. Accessibility by car

A1 from Amsterdam:

• At the Eemnes junction/exit 10, take the right lane to follow the signs for the N221 towards Baarn-Noord/Soest.
• Follow the right lane to turn left at the traffic lights onto Zandheuvelweg (signs for N221/Amsterdam/A1/Eemnes/Baarn/Soest).
• Keep right to continue towards Amsterdamsestraatweg/N221 and take the first exit at the roundabout.
• At the second (large) roundabout, take the second exit and continue on the Amsterdamsestraatweg/N221.
• After approximately 2,5 kilometers, continue straight ahead at the traffic lights.
• After 200 meters you will see the signs “P Paleis Soestdijk”. You can park your car in this parking lot.

A1 from direction Amersfoort:

• At the Eemnes junction/exit 10, take the right lane to follow the signs for the N221 towards Baarn-Noord/Soest.
• Turn left onto Wakkerendijk/N221 (signs Baarn/Soest/Amersfoort/A1)
• At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Amsterdamsestraatweg/N221.
• At the second (large) roundabout, take the second exit and continue on the Amsterdamsestraatweg/N221.
• After approximately 2,5 kilometers, continue straight ahead at the traffic lights.
• After 200 meters you will see the signs “P Paleis Soestdijk”. You can park your car in this parking lot.

• Local bus 572 towards Soestdijk Noord, get off at the Colenso bus stop (bus does not run on Sundays)
• Local bus 573 towards Soestdijk Zuid, get off at the Colenso bus stop (bus does not run on Sundays)
• Regional bus 272 towards Utrecht de Uithof/Rijnsweerd, get off at the Colenso bus stop

From Soest Station

• Regional bus 74 towards Soestdijk Noord, change at the Soestdijk Noord bus stop to Steekbus 70 towards Hilversum. Get off at the Colenso bus stop
• Sprinter towards Baarn

From Hilversum Station

• Regional bus 70 towards Amersfoort via Soest, get off at the Colenso or Paleis Soestdijk bus stop (bus does not stop at Paleis Soestdijk on Sundays)
• Various trains towards Baarn

From Utrecht Station

• Sprinter towards Amersfoort Vathorst, change at Hilversum Sportpark to regional bus 70 towards Amersfoort via Soest, get off at the Colenso or Paleis Soestdijk bus stop (bus does not stop at Paleis Soestdijk on Sundays)
• Sprinter towards Baarn
• Various trains towards Hilversum

From Amersfoort Station

• Regional bus 70 towards Hilversum via Soest, get off at the Colenso or Paleis Soestdijk bus stop (bus does not stop at Paleis Soestdijk on Sundays)

From the Colenso bus stop it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Soestdijk Palace.
