Atmospheric & unique dining

Delicious wines, beers and mocktails have been selected for the menu. Every evening great musicians play who accompany the evening with atmospheric music. An evening full of history and the future
In the industrial garage where the dinner takes place, we take a look at the future. Innovative food innovations from Dutch entrepreneurs form the inspiration for the menu and the experience. Of course, we also look back at the rich history of the estate. In a walk across the grounds, you discover the stories and buildings of the former 'factory' of Paleis Soestdijk.
What is the mill garden?
De Maaltuin is a traveling pop-up restaurant that has been opening at special locations since 2016. Previous editions have included Muiderslot, Botanical Gardens, Soesterberg Air Base and Soestdijk Palace. With De Maaltuin we introduce you to a special garden, a palace or a hidden gem in a relaxed way. At the table you can enjoy the surroundings and the cozy and relaxed atmosphere of De Maaltuin.
The Parade
The Parade has been part of the Soestdijk Palace estate for centuries. In this village on the other side of the palace, in addition to the farm - now the Information Centre - the stables, nursery, caretaker's house and the royal garage are located. The Parade will also remain an important part of Soestdijk Palace I Made by Holland in the future. The wish is that in the long term the Parade will be opened up more to the public. With activities in the field of 'food and agriculture', one of the four pillars of Made by Holland. The ambition is that supporting catering can also be added to literally give visitors a foretaste of the future. The aim is to show and experience visitors to the Parade how personal, conscious sustainable choices can have a positive impact on themselves and the world.
