Children

The guided tour of the Palace is not suitable for young children.

The guided tour lasts three-quarters of an hour and focuses on the history of the architecture and the residents of Soestdijk Palace.

If you come with children aged under 12 then the rule applies that each child must be accompanied by a supervising adult during the tour. If the behaviour of a child disturbs the guided tour for the other visitors then you may be asked to leave the tour with your child.

Due to fire regulations it is not permitted to take prams, buggies and large rucksacks into the Palace. Eating and drinking are not permitted in the Palace either.

A walk through the park is however suitable for young children and the restaurant in the Orangery has special menus for young guests.
